Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart vs Cody Ray Strong

On September 11, 2009 at the Bloomington National Guard Armory, "For The Kids" will be headlined by an appearance by WWE Legend Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart!

"The Anvil", one of the most decorated tag-team wrestlers in history, has held gold nearly everywhere he has been. As half of the famous "Hart Foundation" with Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Neidhart held the WWF Tag Team Championship on two seperate occasions. Neidhart brings his legendary strength and skill to headline "For The Kids"!

Despite his legendary status, however, Neidhart will be facing stiff competition on September 11. His opponent is the "Quad City Beast" Cody Ray Strong. Strong, a former Mixed Martial Artist, was undefeated in MMA competition, taking his record to 15-0 before being banned for the sport from life. Rumors abound regarding the reasons for Strong's lifetime ban, the most common being a vicious attack on his opponent, the referee, and several officials following his final fight. When reached for comment, Strong would neither confirm nor deny these rumors.

"I have no comment," Strong said. "My agent does my talking for me."

The "agent" in question, Hollywood super-agent Ryland Foxx, had the following to say:

"My client never did anything to his opponents that they didn't deserve." Foxx continued, "Team Strong is better than ever, and on September 11 at 'For The Kids', there are going to be a lot of disappointed kiddies. The 'Quad City Beast' is going ground and pound Neidhart, grab his arm, and tap him out - 'The Anvil' is going to get hammered, courtesy of Ryland Foxx's Team Strong, and the 'Quad City Beast' Cody Ray Strong!"
